Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant security, military, or law enforcement experience

• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and short-notice shifts

• Excellent multitasking skills in fast-paced environments

• Proactive problem solver with the ability to work independently

• Knowledge of the latest security technologies, including camera systems, smartphones, and communication apps

• Valid State of California Security Guard Permit (Required)

• Active First Responder, Paramedic, or EMT certifications (Preferred)

• Ability to communicate professionally with clients, superiors, peers, and vendors

Responsibilities

• Safety and Security: Ensure the overall safety and security of designated principals and their properties.

• Monitoring: Monitor multiple security systems for various properties, including alarms and cameras. Identify and respond to security risks.

• Access Control: Control access to properties and maintain security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.

• Security Driving and Protection: Provide security driving and protective services.

• SOP Compliance: Follow and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

• Equipment Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in using and maintaining equipment used in protective operations (e.g., vehicles, medical supplies, communication devices).

Skills and Experience Required

• 3+ years of relevant security, military, or law enforcement experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting schedules

• Proficiency in security technology, including camera systems and communication tools

• Valid California Security Guard Permit (Required)

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with clients and colleagues professionally

• Active First Responder, Paramedic, or EMT certifications (Preferred)

Desired Skills and Experience

• HR218 or California CCW permit

• California Firearms card

• Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS preferred)

• Experience with social media collection tools for protective intelligence

• Prior experience in residential security, executive protection, or corporate security

• Defensive tactics, counter-surveillance, and covert protection training

• Attendance at a recognized Executive Protection (EP) school (e.g., ESI, EPI, Oatman, etc.)

Salary and Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
